Originally I was going to construct a NeoVibe but I came across several articles about the Danelectro ‘Chicken Salad’. This is an op-amp clone of the Univibe and at around £30 is a real steal.
There are 2 types of mod for this pedal. The first is modifying the pedal and keep the existing case. The second is to completely re-house the pedal and convert it to true bypass.
I intend to carry out the first mod initially and then progress to the total re house. Details of the initial mod can be found here. Here’s some pics of my Chicken Salad in pieces: -
